Postcards from Paris, Part 1

September 6, 2014
Paris street, latin quarter, rue de mouffetard

A bit of radio silence from me the past few weeks because Sean and I went on a little trip to Paris and Berlin. The thing that was the most surprising of all was that Paris completely lived up to all the hype. The soft cheeses are ridiculously cheap, there’s charcuterie everywhere, the buildings are gilded, and there’s always this perpetual tinkling cafe sound. Paris is the first city I’ve been where I caught myself thinking, “Wow, I love this city more than New York.”

Gorgeous pictures, you actually make me want to go to Paris, a city which until now I've had literally no desire to visit! (I heard it's smelly, rude, expensive and elitist)

I don't know if it was just the things we were doing or what, but I thought everyone was so nice in Paris!! (I felt really bashful not speaking any French, so maybe they felt sorry for me. ;P) Compared to NYC, Paris is immaculate. 😉
