“Mama’s in the factr’y she aint got no shoes”

June 25, 2009

Bob Dylan (Tombstone Blues)

Of all my decorated shoes, I would say these are my favorites. They were simple to make–though sewing buttons in faux suede is painful even with a thimble– my pricked fingers and I still love ’em.

I love that yellow ceramic button. Especially next to the purple one. πŸ™‚

Also found this race in high heels. Incorporates two of my favorite things: shoes and running. I wonder how long this race was? A distance one would be mighty painful.

I love the shoes and as the DC Love (I'm a resident.) The DC Drag Race! It's a yearly competition here in DC– the race is usually about 1/2 a mile and the costumes usually are BY FAR the best part.

Do you think it'd work if you were to hotglue them??

    Hey Yang!

I don't think hot glue would work– I think the buttons would pop off. Your shoes have so much movement associated with them. :/
