Leather Bow Belt

So here’s my latest crafty thing– a leather bow belt. I think bows, animals, and flowers are almost at a tie for my favorite things. My little sister got this adorable little bow belt for Christmas and I loved it so much that I tried to make one for myself. Honestly, this may be one of my favorite things I’ve made. Mostly because I took my time to make it look decent and it is much more practical than most of what I make. How often can you really wear jeans covered in poetry or dresses in flowers? 😉

My Mom’s been teaching me a lot about old dishes this month, and I got some depression glass for a great deal in the little antique store in my town. Mmm.

 I’m off to work on more projects– I am off of school this month and I am spending it applying for jobs and figuring out stuff. And working on those New Years’ resolutions:
 1. Take more (and better) pictures. Read my books on photography.
 2. Don’t buy crappy stuff. And don’t buy stuff just because it is cheap. Goodwill is for treasure hunts and Walmart is only for food. And shampoo. 🙂
3. Have fun with school. (That one’s not too hard.)
