Easy Mix-and-Match Necklace-Making with Styled by Tori Spelling

If you took one look around my closet, you might think I have a case of Multiple (Style) Personality Disorder. In my wardrobe, there are frilly dresses next to leather pants, sleek pencil skirts hanging beside to leopard print jeans, and motorcycle boots resting next to glitter flats. Part of my wardrobe discombobulation comes from the fact that most of my wardrobe is either sewn by me or thrifted, but the main reason my wardrobe is in a state of print and pattern confusion is because I really like to mix it up. (An outfit has to make me feel REALLY awesome for me to wear it the exact same way twice– unless I wear it the exact same way two days in a row… Those don’t count. That’s just laziness. And usually on the weekend. ;)) So when I received a batch of the new Styled by Tori Spelling jewelry line where you can mix and match different parts of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, I was totally tickled.

Styled by Tori Spelling is a creative new easy-to-assemble (costume) jewelry line that is unique in the sense that it gives you connectors and clasps that allow you to switch up and layer necklaces together in new ways. My favorite thing about the line is that it is really easy to mix and match all of the pieces– INCLUDING necklaces you already own! Dundundun.

Here’s how it goes together:

You just take the little clasps, clip in the necklace bases, and that’s it! Easy. You can add brooches to the accessories as well, which I think is pretty nifty.

And because I received SO MUCH JEWELRY in the package to review, I had to give some away so I wouldn’t feel so guilty. πŸ˜‰ I gave a couple necklaces to my mom, who not-so-subtly hinted upon my opening of the box that, “Stacie I really like that colorful one…” πŸ˜‰ And I gave another necklace set to my necklace fiend-of-a-friend Molly.

What I gave to Molly:

Molly herself:

Molly styled her necklace with two necklaces from Lia Sophia. Molly is a fellow Scarves Dot Net gal, so she totally understands the importance of a good accessory. πŸ˜‰ (Molly also just did a really cool interview with Elena Kiam, the creative lady behind Lia Sopia, over on The Daily Muse.)

And a couple more ways I styled my gems with some of my own accessories:

SO FUN.

And you can find Styled by Tori Spelling jewelry at both Michaels and Jo-Ann Fabrics— the prices may vary by store. You can find the Styled by Tori Spelling team on Facebook here, and Twitter here. πŸ™‚

Now for the disclosure stuff: I wrote this post as part of a paid campaign with Darice and Blueprint Social, but this blog is my web-child and I would never pimp it out for something I do not think is totally awesome. The opinions in this post are all my own, I swear on my laptop. πŸ™‚

PS– A HUGE thank-you to the above companies for this opportunity. (!!!)
