Diana Photography Post: Birds on a Wire

These photos were taken with an old Diana camerathat I got on Etsy for $10. I used this tutorial to put 35mm film in my Diana camera, and I developed it at Walmart. (Really cheap.) πŸ™‚

These photos were taken in San Juan, PR about a year ago. During this time I was obsessed with taking photos of birds on telephone wires– I think I was listening to too much Regina Spektor. πŸ˜‰

mhmmm Diana isn't old! yes it's old if you mean the original camera from 60's but the Diana clones you can buy today are new! o:

Oh I know! πŸ™‚ The one I use is an old, old one from Etsy. (It is a little more fragile and has different markings than the new Diana F+ cameras.) I did link to the new ones though.

How beautiful! Plastic camera always produce the most interesting and unpredictable frames. The light leaks against the power lines creates a fun dynamic. πŸ˜€

The vintage Dianas and all her clones are SO! MUCH! BETTER! thank those modern knockoffs. Running 35mm though them is awesome too, eh? Especially shooting over the sprockets – adds a fun effect. You've got some great shots in there! I can see the Regina inspiration. πŸ™‚
