A Little Update

August 13, 2012
Edited-1
So… An exciting little announcement– I’ve moved to New York! These past few months have been some of the craziest and most stressful of my life… finding an apartment, getting a job, furnishing said apartment, and stuffing it all in a cargo van to go from Indiana to NYC… πŸ™‚ Whew! While I am really sad to leave behind so many people that I love in Indiana, I am so excited to start this next chapter in my life.

Right now, my roommates and I are trying to stuff all of our things in our tiny (but perfect) place… and make it as cozy, warm, and inviting as we possibly can. (And I’ve still got to find me a craft shop in the city. ;))

A bit of progress… Gotta get stuff on the walls soon!

New Home
Making curtains from shower curtain fabric.

While I’ll be living in the city for the indefinite future, I’ll always be a sheep-raising, crafting, thrifting Hoosier cheapskate. We’ll see how this goes. πŸ˜‰

welcome to our lovely (but sometimes stinky) city! I too am an ex country gal, it's not too bad of a transition πŸ˜‰ Oh – and there's a Micheal's in the Upper West Side, and some other small spacklings of quilting, knitting, and art supply stores spread throughout the city.

hope you love it as much as I do!
