Fork + pliers = bracelet! My friend had one of these and I had to try and make it.
Supplies:
-Needlenose pliers
-Sturdy pliers for holding
-Fork, preferably the cheaper kind that bends easier
Step 1: Make sure you have sturdy pliers to hold the fork into place when you are using another pair of needlenose pliers to bend the prongs.
Step 2: Use the needlenose pliers to bend the prongs to your desired shape/design. I have heard that if you heat up the fork with a blowtorch the prongs are more malleable, but I think that technique is a bit extreme unless you are making an extremely complicated design.

That is neat! I tried this myself, but I used different pliers (the only ones I had available), and the result wasn't all that good.. And the fork I used was really hard to bend as well, so .. oh well :P what kind of fork did you use? It looks so much more bendable than the one I used.
And how did you bend the cuff of the fork so smoothly? The cuff on my fork was really "unbendable", but with alot of force (and a hurting hand after wards.. haha) I got it to bend. But not in that smooth way yours did!

Love this idea and can't wait to hit the thrift stores to find special forks to try these instructions with! Thanks for sharing your idea! I agree that using a blow torch is a bit extreme but wonder if putting the fork in boiling water for a little while would make the metal easier to work with. Have you ever tried this? It's worth a shot for those of us with hand strength issues.
Thank you for your kind words! :) I've never tried using boiling water to heat up the metal-- I've boiled water to bend plastic, but I don't think it would work on metal. It just won't get hot enough! Hope that helps-- and good luck!
