My Sole(s)

So one hobby that I have is finding cheap shoes and embellishing them. My mom used to be a seamstress so there has always been interesting supplies and fabric around the house, (not to mention an excellent sewing teacher). These were the first shoes I "made," they are a bit uncomfortable due to all of the superglue I used, but still very fun and eye-catching.





The buttons are antique buttons my mom has collected over the years from my grandmother and great-grandmothers. We have 2 huge boxes of buttons that are like a treasure chest for me. I never know what I am going to find.





I have some exciting projects coming up, so stay tuned! A little teaser: I have a thing for old jeans as well. :)
